Park (P)Reverse (R)Neutral/No gear (N)Drive (D)OverDrive ([D], OD, or a boxed D)Second (2 or S)First (1 or L)
Something that will destroy your car Jk it will allow you to get full power through each gear if you shift up starting from 1 #smooth -Wasaab
DRIVE!
its like triptronic in an automatic car, click the 'Manu' button in and the move the gear stick down to 'L', L locks the car in first gear then when you want to change gear move the gear stick to the number '2' for 2nd gear and then change it once again the the letter 'D' for 3rd gear .. so revs like a Manuel but without the clutch and only 3 gears to changes through its more for racing and fuel efficiency that's what i have been reading up anyway, haven't actually tried this for myself
whaat? well if its automatic, then just put it in d or d4 and it will be automatic. Since it is an old car you don't want to have the engine go at high rpm's usually above 3500. So on the highway keep it at the lowest gear, 5th for a stick. and shift the gear when you hit 3000 rpm's.
------DRIVE ----- just like any other automatic transmissioned vehicle
As long as this is an automatic car (manuals are very very rare) put it in D for drive and ignore it. If it has an OD for overdrive that is good as well.
P Park R Reverse N Neutral D Drive 2 Second gear L Low gear
In vehicles with an automatic transmission, the letter D often denotes the driveposition, as opposed to N (for neutral), R (for reverse) or P (for park).
In most automatic cars, in Great Britain where I live, all you have to do is put the car into D (Drive) and push the accelerator. This will automatically change the gears of the car up and down.
k manu button works like this.when its pressed L is first gear 2 is second gear and d is 3gear,automatic supra equipped with manu butane tyetronic, symply, its automatic, but when u want to be more fuel efficient or race ,press and use L for firs 2 for second and d for third gear:Dhope i helped:D
Automatic transmission cars also have what is called "creep" while the engine is running and the selector is in "D" for drive or another gear, the car will creep along even if your foot is not on the accelerator. Be prepared for that, keep your foot on the brake when shifting from park/neutral into a driving gear or it will lurch a little. Keep your foot on the brake at traffic lights etc.
