check your throttle linkage. it may be stuck open and make your adjustments from there. this is located at the top of your motor attached to the carburators.
Air does not come out of an intake mainfold, because the intake manifolds are under a vacuum. Now exhaust manifolds, that a different story.
On a V8 engine there is ( 1 intake manifold and 2 exhaust manifolds )
Most popular intake manifolds are Edelbrock, Weiand, and then there are performance manifolds from Ford, GM, and Mopar. Hope this helps -don't know much about that ricey cone filter CAI crap...
Aftermarket retailers such as Summit and Jeg's have a variety of manifolds for this application.
To remove the throttle body on a 2001 Pontiac Montana, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Next, remove any components obstructing access, such as the air intake duct and any sensors connected to the throttle body. Unscrew the throttle body mounting bolts and detach any electrical connectors or vacuum lines. Finally, carefully lift the throttle body off the intake manifold and replace the gasket if necessary before reinstalling.
There are basically 2 manifolds. The intake manifold routes air to the engine and also fuel on a vehicle with carburetor or throttle body fuel injection. The exhaust manifold routes exhaust gases out of the engine to the converter and then to the tail pipe.

Air filters n manifolds
Yes they will. For direct hp you'll have to search for.
Sitting right on top of the engine.
The air intake filter assembly would be connected to the throttle body.
Not with out major modifications. The engine mounts, exhaust and intake manifolds, and entire fuel system are all different. Not with out major modifications. The engine mounts, exhaust and intake manifolds, and entire fuel system are all different.
