Bear in mind that you will have to pay your deductible on the home insurance, and that damages to the car would be covered under the car insurance if you have collision coverage on the car, and a deductible will most likely apply here as well. If you do not have collision coverage on the car, then you will need to pay the full cost out of your own pocket to get the car fixed. We also recommend that you expect to be cancelled later if you do this more than once. ;)
