If you have two different types of tires on the front and back of your car will it effect the handling of your car?

It probably will. Each brand and type of tire has it's own ride & handling characteristice. Depending on the tires the difference may take a professional evaluator to feel it or "even a caveman" would fee it if you were to put High Performance on one axle and snow tires on the other.
You may not have an issue if you keep same speed rating on all 4 tires and same general type such as Snow or All Season or Summer.
Read the sidewall and see if the construction materials are the same too.
NEVER mix radial and bias (diagonal) on a vehicle. Use one construction or the other.

If you mean have one size tire on the front drivers and a different size on the front passenger then, YES, it is very bad to have different size tires on the drive axle (your car is front wheel drive), your handling will be ruined, brakes will pull to one side and the differential in the transmission will be put under extra stress from one wheel turning at a different speed then the other at all times. If you mean one size on the back and another on the front, NO, your handling will be effected alittle but but the brakes should operate fine.

I would recommend against it. The ride, wear, traction and handling characteristics are too different. You will not have the same handling when you turen right as when you turn left.

Can you? Yes. Should you? No. The 235 will be 3.67% smaller. This will adversely effect your ride, handling, speedometer, and braking.

It will fit, but if you are talking about replacing just one tire, I wouldn't recommend it. The shorter profile of the tire will adversely affect handling on corners and possibly straight line handling. If you are replacing 2 tires or all 4 tires then handling won't be affected. On a 2-tire replacement, make sure the new pair is mounted either in the front or the rear -- not one on each. Normally on a 2-wheel replacement it is best to put new tires on the front, as the front tires tend to wear down more quickly.
