it depends on the size of the motor gas will burn hotter and faster then diesel could blow up

Serious engine damage. There will be a big problem... Unleaded gasoline does not have the lubrication properties of diesel fuel and has ignition properties much more violent than diesel fuel.Your only solution is to have your tank and fuel lines drained and hope for the best. If you did not drive the vehicle you will be fine.
