the person driving the car you are resonsible for making shure everything is working while u are driving wether its your car or not..
I have an 87 Aero Coupe and my 3rd brake light bulb is in my truck. I think yours would be the same too.
I have a 1994 Lexus ES300 and when my brake light came on, it meant that one of my brakes lines had busted. Eventually I had NO brakes. Not sure if this would apply to yours. Get it checked out before it is to late.
Yep, My sister owns one, have seen it If you have trouble with yours please include problem, and year of car
try releasing the brake This happened to me, too, after I used the brake (which I don't do often, but I was parked on a steep hill). I assumed e-brake cable or something was simply stuck. In other words, I wasn't too concerned. Turns out the brake light was on because my brakes desperately needed to be replaced. Once I did that, the light went out. So in my case it was just a coincidence. Perhaps in yours, too. (Eventually the light stayed on all the time.)
It is usually located above the brake pedal on most cars. Usually between where the brake pedal pivots and the actual pedal. Some older vehicles had a pressure switch in the brake line. Yours is probably above the pedal.
If it is yours, the ticket and money.
My friend has an 87 honda. If the brake fluid reservior on the 87 is not completely full the level indicator will energize the brake light. Maybe yours is a similar problem. dg_8
Its YOURS!
Question is unclear. If the ticket was given in person, who's drivers license did you show the officer? Where did they get your son's information if they were copying it from yours? If this was a red-light camera ticket - - the ticket is always issued to the owner of the car. Either you will have to go to court to admit to driving it, or the points and fine will go against him.
yes you can
If you get a citation from a traffic cop, the ticket is yours. If the intersection has a camera that catches the vehicle in violation, the owner will get the ticket. It would probably be the person that you borrowed the car from. Because if you ran the red light, the camera or police would always right down the license plate number and would send the ticket to the owner of that car. But becareful Next Time!..:) ~Naomi~
You were driving, you got the ticket. Even if it was a faulty equipment ticket, it will be on your record.
