But seriously, if you follow the national electrical code, you won't get into trouble.
I've had my general contractors license for years and many homeowners do better work than some of the professional electricians.

∙ 15y agoNo, you do not need a plumber to change a bathroom fixture. If you are not experienced with repair, it would be in your best interest to hire a plumber. If you are experienced, however, there are many sites online that will instruct you on how to change the fixture.
Yes. You can change at any time. The insurance company cannot deny the claim because you changed companies.
To change the front blinker bulb on your 1986 Chevy Celebrity simply reach up behind the bumper and unplug the socket from the fixture. Replace the bulb in the socket and plug the socket back into the fixture.
No, your insurance is not a warranty on your car. However, why did it seized? Was it because the oil change company didn't put oil in the car after the oil change? Then you need to file a claim with the oil change company's insurance. However, if it is simply a mechanical issue, then no, they won't cover your auto.
Look at the wattage capacity of the fixture. Some fixtures are limited to 65 watts, some can take much more. If you use a larger bulb than what the fixture was designed for you create a fire risk. If you need to use a larger bulb but the fixture is limited to 65 watts, you need to change the fixture.

Probably because you need to change it, or generator does not work properly. take it to the dealer
Hi, I just changed the whole fixture for the third light. There are two caps on each side of the fixture. With flat screw driver, take off the caps and take out the screws. The light fixture will come out and twist the socket of the light bulb. Now you can able to change the light bulb. I hope this will help you all.
Very easy to do. Remove the two cap screws from the lens fixture (uses a 6mm socket, I believe). Very carefully use a flat tip screwdriver to gently pry the fixture from the underneath side of the trunk lid, and it should hang down with the light fixture attached to it. The fixture is made of a rubber-like plastic, so gently working it side to side will free it from the lens fixture. Remove the bulb from the light fixture by pulling it straight out (looks like an ancient camera bulb). You could use a 161 or 168 light bulb, but I used a 194 bulb (costs a little over $2.00 at O'Reillys) to reinstall into the light fixture. Going in reverse method, place the light fixture into lens fixture, and reassemble the lens fixture back to the trunk lid. Piece of cake!
To change the tail light bulb on a 1986 to 1989 Chevy Celebrity coupe or sedan: 1. In the trunk by the appropriate quarter panel there are three nuts, the middle nut holds the outer end of the tail light fixture in place. Remove that nut, it should align with the middle of the tail light fixture. 2. Pull back on the tail light fixture until the stud comes out of the body. Then pull slightly outward on the tail light fixture to pull a tab out of the backup light fixture. 3. Locate the appropriate socket for the bulb you are going to replace and remove the socket from the tail light fixture. Put in the new bulb and reverse the instructions to put the tail light fixture back in place.
Open the hatch. Right behind the light fixture that contains the bad bulb is a cover plate inside the trunk. Remove it and reach inside. You'll find two big plastic nuts that hold the fixture in place. Remove both (they turn with the hand) and push the fixture out of the fender. Unhook the wire to the bulb, twist the socket to get it out, change the bulb, put the socket back in and reconnect the wire, put the fixture back in, put the nuts back on and replace the cover.
Look on the side of the light fixture under the hood of your car. There is a knob sticking out of the side of the fixture. Take a long screw driver and push the knob over about 1.5 inches. This will release the light fixture. Pull the fixture out from the front of the car and you can access the blubs. Don't forget to NOT touch the new light bulb - body oils will greatly shorten the life expetency of a halogen light bulb. anybody know how to change the cabin air filter in the same car? HELP!!!
