I had one side of my car resprayed but after washing it i can notice a few light patches that dont seem to blend in with the rest of the colour.what can i do to make it all the same colour?

The light patches you are seeing are likely places in the paint job that the painter did not fully cover, which would leave the primer below the paint slightly exposed. This is most common on colors like silver and red, which can often look uneven if the paint is either poorly mixed or unevenly sprayed. Unfortunately, the only way to fix it is the have it repainted because the paint is underneath a clear coat so that nothing you apply to it will alter its color. You should take it back to the shop that painted it and have them redo it especially if they guarantee their work. If they won't redo it without charging you again and you still want it done, you should take it somewhere else where you know they'll do it right.
