When the petrol light comes on in most cars there is enough left in the tank to get to a petrol station, which is around ten or fifteen miles worth. So lets say a fiesta does 40 mpg, that would mean 1/4 of a gallon or around a litre of petrol.

the future of petrol is not in fact petrol it is hydrogen hydrogen in the future will be used as a fuel in our cars because of it's abundance and the fact that the only thing that comes out of the exhaust is water H20. honda have already made a hydrogen car (not on sale) and if you search it up you will probably find it. when we find an easier way of extracting it it will almost certainly replace the void t left by petrol

Depends on the engine. The Mk 3 fiesta was fitted with a variety of petrol engines and a diesel option. Petrol variants often take a bit less than 4 litres of oil, in which case a 4litre pack will give you a bit left over for topping up, whilst the diesel engines of those days often required more than 4 litres, so a 5L pack will leave a bit for topping up. If you are not sure which engine you've got, buy a 5L pack.
