You will see a 1/2" square slot in the tensioner, use a 1/2" breaker or a standard ratchet with a short extension, pop that into the slot, release the tension on the belt. jr

Yes very much so. The cop cars are basically heavy duty everything from suspension to motor and tranny. The motor is a 9c1 only cops came with those motors that year which is mainly a 350 but a little more than a stock one.
9c1 If equipped with the LT1,against a 2005+ CV PI. Non LT1 against 2004 + CV PI would take it.

they may work i believe the mounts are the same but you will have to get 9c1 pads I know for a fact the 9c1 calipers are wider so the pads are different. also be careful as your rim may not mount properly because of the oversized caliper. 9c1s came with a different steel wheel then normal caprices.
