no not all golf gti's have a turbo on the newer golf's it's the one's with a red i in gti that are turboed ok buddy If you are buying a brand new Golf GTI, you can request that the model that you will buy has a turbo in it or none. Of course by adding this feature increases the price of the unit. If you are buying a second hand Golf GTI, I suggest that you research car advertisings first and locate a used Golf GTI with a turbo (if that is what you desire), compare prices and values/condition, then grab it. This way, you will get the specification you want at the price you can afford.
