there are different types of lift kits, body lift, which are spacers between body where body is attached to frame (chassis). there are also suspension lifts this is when springs are replaced with taller bigger springs (coil) or blocks or spacers are installed under leaf springs ex a 3 inch block will raise truck height 3 inches.its more then just adding height you are changing the geometry of steering shaft angle, also stabilizer mods and shock mods are recommended also bigger wheels and tires increase your stopping distance tenfold big wheels need bigger brake system. also suspension lifts are murder on your drive shaft and universal joints. it all depends what yourheight desires are what truck, anything between2 to3 no big deal/ you want a monster you are goin 2 pay to have a safe truck
It costs anywhere between $1500-$2000
The wheel wells ride much higher in a lifted truck. After the wheel wells are raised, taller tires can then be added to have a truck become a lifted truck.
Probably anywhere from 120 to 400 a month. No joke.
2 second Google for "Menlo park lift kit" got several promising hits. As to cost it will depend on your truck, if you want it done so the truck will be safe, and how high.
About $150 each but some cheaper ones cost less.
How much does a gas tanker truck cost?"
I have a lifted truck and love it. There are however drawbacks that need to be addressed in order for a lifted truck to work safely. This website has a wonderful article on what to look for and what to keep maintained. www.truckinweb.com
When one adds a suspension kit and larger sized tires to a truck it becomes "lifted". One must buy a lift kit which has everything the person needs to "lift" their truck. The term "lifted truck" generally means a truck that is higher up from the ground.
"How much is the cost of the Catalytic converter on a 1997 Nissan truck?"
You're looking at about 1500$ for the kit, plus labour to install. In total your probably looking at around 2200$ for the lift. That gets you lifted, then you need bigger tires! :P
Need to specify the truck and the application. That all factors in to the overall cost.
Personally, I would buy one that is lifted or have it professionally done. If you buy one already lifted, you don't run any risk of messing up your truck.
