As a moving violation, running a red light would put two points on your license in Ohio. It may also incur a fine of 100 to 200 dollars.
It's a moving violation-so yes
I think there are 4 points given for running a redlight. I live in Florida and they have the cameras, either the yellow turns to red very quickly or they are ticketing people who turn right on red. It's should be called Red Light Racketeering for the purpose of making revenue. Under a couple of different state statues it's not legal for states to do. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuite aginst the state of Florida.
