I believe the color was called top bananna, at least that's what dodge called it and if you go to NAPA you should be able to get the code for it from their paint books they have and they can also get you the paint.

The Remington Model 550-1 production started in 1940, then stopped during WW2, and production resumed in 1946 and continued until 1970. Models produced from 1968-1970 have serial numbers, pre-1968 don't have serial numbers, but all models have a date code stamped on the barrel. D code = 1960-1970? C code = 1950-1960? B code = 1940-1950? Not sure about the date code dates.
