DRAIN AND REMOVE RADIATOR.SHROUD AND FAN REMOVE WATER PUMP,RE-INSTALL PUMP WITH SILICONE SEALENT..GOOD LUCK ..toro2
Take off your belt. Take off the fan. take off water hoses on pump. Unscrew all bolts on water pump. There are many. Put new pump in the same spot . Put silicone sealer on all of the connecting metal of the new pump. Place the new pump on and bolt it back up again. Wait a while for the silicone to set and dry.
i don't know how long a water pump should last, but mine just went out on my 2005 TB at 47,000 miles. ugh.
As long as you are taking it all apart, you should replace the radiator hoses, heater hoses, and accessory drive belt(s.) Be sure to get the gasket for the pump, and some hi-temp (red or blue) silicone to seal it up.
for my 99 camaro, i had to find it first, then i took the belt off, then i took the bolts off and got a razor, and scraped the old water pump gasket off the water pump, then i put silicone gasket maker on my water gasket and put that on the water pump that is attatched to your engine, then i put silicone gasket maker on the new water pump and then i stuck that on the other half of the water pump and bolted it back on, lol i figuered it out by myself and im 16 and that is the first time i worked on my car, hoped that helped

i cant fully answer this question but first you should purchase a repair manual. i know when relacing a water pump you must first disconect the negative connection from the battery, release the pressure and drain the coolant. next you must remove the radiator ,coolant fan and any other things that inhibit the removal of the water pump. remember to purchase the new water pump with a new gasket included. and you will need silicone to seal the water pump when replacing. that's basic hope it helps
Sure. 100% silicone can be used. The sealant is not necessary as the gasket does the sealing anyway. the sealant does help hold the gasket in place for easier installation.
its a very good idea
How often should you change water pump in a boat
Yes it is, as long as the 350 pump is not a late model pump.
That would be a long shaft water pump.
