viscosity is tested through by heating the liquid to constain temperature and there by making a flow and the time taken from one level to another level. the time to compare with time taken by liquid to flow from one level to another level with out heating and calculating the viscosity index at two points.

What body fluid is tested for viscosity during collection?

Blood is the body fluid typically tested for viscosity during collection. Changes in blood viscosity can indicate certain medical conditions, such as dehydration or blood disorders.

What can be tested for viscosity?

Any liquid. Normally thick ones.

Do you want your blood to be thick or thin?

That is too vague. You want it to be a certain viscosity so it is neither too thick nor too thin. If this is critical, as it is for many people, you need to be tested monthly and possibly take warfarin to stabilise the viscosity.

What is A and B in redwood viscometer?

In a redwood viscometer, A and B are constants used in the formula to calculate the viscosity of the fluid being tested. The formula is viscosity = A + B * time in seconds. The values of A and B are specific to the design of the redwood viscometer and are typically provided by the manufacturer.

Why viscosity is important for engine oil?

Viscosity tells you the speed at which the oil will flow. The lower the viscosity the faster the oil will flow at 210 degrees fahrenheit as in an SAE30 weight oil. Any oil with a W attached such as SAE 10w30 means the oil was tested at a cold temperature and will flow as a 10 weight when it is cold and then performs as a 30 weight at 210 degrees.

What is the difference between viscosity and viscosity index?

Viscosity is resistance to flow of oil Viscosity Index is a scale to measure viscosity

Is there any formula to calculate viscosity index?

Yes, the formula to calculate viscosity index is: [ VI = \frac{10^9\left[\left(\log_{10}(\eta_{100})\right) - \log_{10}(\eta_{40})\right]}{[(1 + \eta_{100} \times K_{V} - 1) \times (1 + \eta_{40} \times K_{V} - 1)]} ] Where (\eta_{100}) is the viscosity at 100°C and (\eta_{40}) is the viscosity at 40°C, and (K_V) is a constant depending on the fluid being tested.

Does soda have a low viscosity?

The viscosity is similar to the viscosity of water.

How does viscosity happen?

Viscosity doesn't happen. Viscosity is a measure of how easily a liquid flows.
