The temperature gage in a 2000 Chevrolet 1 ton with a 454 should stay about in the middle of the temperature variation. It will probably run slightly hotter when towing.

YES, that would be a TBI / Throttle body fuel injection engine.
It should be on the fuel rail on the engine. It should have a vacum hose going to it and a return line running back to the tank. Drivers-side rear, I think.

A good 454 will have at least 150 PSI per cylinder.
Remove the tire and wheel from your 1994 Chevy. Remove the brake assembly. Tap on the rotors with a hammer or mallet. The rotors will slide off. Reverse the process to install the new rotors.
