∙ 14y agoA crew of six could replace an engine on a C-124C (R4360-99W) in less than eight hours. I replaced a cylinder in 4 hours at night in the rain on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, in 1961. Took about four hours to change a carburetor, 'cause the guy I was working with was slow.
