the eco tec engine in a corsa is a very well engine if its looked after. its very well built but like all engines has its downs. the engine is a good little runner and will continue to be if its properly serviced.
Probably running it through the engine and out the exhaust via a bad head gasket.
Using a Diesel fuel conditioner would be good for your engine and would not be bad at all.
It's a good engine, just bad to work on.
Bad crank sensor could do that.
Bad. The engine water system is not properly pressurised and will boil up. Can cause serious engine damage.
Weak fuel pump? Bad fuel filter? Bad air filter? Plugged catalytic converter? I had the same problem with my Corsa, changing my mass air flow meter fixed it!!
If it is bad the check engine light will come on and set a code for that particular sensor.
It depends what you want to do with it. Friction generates heat, which can be good (if you are cold), or bad (if you are not). Friction slows down movement, which can be good (if you are about to crash into a tree with your car), or bad (if you need high performance in an engine for instance).
could be crankshaft sencor or bad contact on connection behind spedo
A compression test is a good place to start.
Not bad if you can just keep the spark plugs from blowing out.
What do you mean it wont do anything... will the engine turn over... is the battery good... if the battery good and the engine wont turn over as if its not receiving power to the starter then it might be a bad starter or bad starter solenoid.
