you dont have to be moving at all, you just have to have the key on and get hit in the front with enough force to make the air bags deploy
It is located in front of the shifter on top of the tunnel. Make sure to disconnect the control module before you unbolt it. If you don't and you drop it hard enough the airbags will deploy.
It depends on your vehicle. Majority of cars made after 2005 are equipped with the new advanced airbags or aka "3rd generation" airbags. Your car can actually take into effect how far you are from the steering wheel, if you're wearing your seat belt, how much you weigh, etc. and based on those fact decide during an accident if your airbag is needed. Although trust me, the car doesn't always make the right decision.
Many companies manufacture airbags including car manufacturers themselves.
A spacecraft lands on the moon by using thrusters to slow down its descent and make a controlled landing. This process is guided by onboard computers and thrusters that adjust the spacecraft's trajectory and speed to ensure a safe landing. The spacecraft may also deploy landing legs or airbags to cushion the impact upon landing.
It's a small metal box that mounts with 3 bolts, approx 4-5" across, mounting underneath a small plastic cover, just to the right of the accelerator pedal, on the floor, just as a precaution, you should unhook the battery before messing with it, just to make sure the airbags don't deploy when you're messing with it... it is not uncommon for the module to go bad, causing the SRS light to stay on all the time, just replace the module and the light should go off, but you might want to have it checked beforehand, to make sure it is the module that is bad, and not another component such as an impact sensor or one of the airbags themselves

Air bags are set to trigger at approx. 15-25 MPH only on impact either front end or side, if side air bags are fitted.
To replace the side the cost to replace the side curtain airbags in your vehicle is dependent upon the year, make, and model of your vehicle. In general, side curtain airbags will cost approximately $300.
nope as long as u notify the buyer that it has a deployrd air bag Legally you may be able to sell the car if you are not a dealer and you notify the buyer that the air bag is not functioning. But make sure you have a written release that the buyer and seller signs, indicating the SRS is not functional. Have this notarized and witnessed. Otherwise you may end up in a lawsuit. Personally, I would not take that chance, and would never sell a vehicle with the SRS deployed. Just not worth the risk of the buyer having an accident and then suing you for injuries he sustained due to the fact the air bag did not deploy. It has happened before and will happen again. Be smart and do not sell this car without repairing the SRS.
