Best Answer

Number of feet in a miles(5280) x Speed (30 mph). That gives you how many feet you go in a hour. Divide that by how many seconds in a hour ( 60 seconds in a minute x 60 minutes in a hour) soooooo- (5280 x 30) divided by (60x60)= ??????

You lost me on that formula. To simplify, 60mph is 1 mile a minute. 30mph is 1/2 mile a minute. 2640 feet a minute. Divided by 60 and you get 44 feet per second at 30mph
