You must find a Towtruck. You can usually find them in Los Santos near, or in and around, Ocean Docks (where you take Ryder in the mission, "Robbing Uncle Sam"). When you get the Towtruck, use the right analog stick like you would with the Forklift, Tractor, or Packer. Make sure you're close enough to the car. A car or truck cannot be towed from the rear. You must lower the "crane" BEFORE backing into a vehicle. Back up SLOWLY so as not to damage the Towtruck, or the car or truck about to be towed. You know you are "hooked" when the vehicle being towed lunges forward a little. Used the right analog stick to raise the vehicle's front end. Stealing a car or truck this way does NOT warrant a wanted level! Just make sure that there are no cops or law enforcement around when you try to enter the "jacked" ride! Entering the ride in the presence a cop or law enforcement will get you a one-star wanted level. Guess what? a Rhino (army tank) can be "hooked"! Try the Towtruck Train! You can hook multiple Towtrucks together to create a Tow-tram! (It's a bit tricky, and may take some time though: Hook one Towtruck to the other, then drive up behind another Towtruck, jack it, and back it into the two "hooked" Towtrucks. Drive the 3 hooked trucks to another Towtruck, Jack the NEW Towtruck and "hook" the 3 "hooked" Towtrucks. Drive the 4 hooked trucks to another Towtruck, Jack the new truck and hook the 4 "hooked" Towtrucks to the recently stolen Towtruck, giving you a total of 5 Towtrucks!) Remember: The newly stolen truck is going to be used as the lead truck! Simply put, Drive, Jack, Hook. This trick can also be done with the Tractor!
