Take the dash apart ...
there will be 2 bolts on each side they are located behind the fender take them out and remove the clips from the top and bottom
TAKE THE PASSENGER SIDE HEAD LIGHT OUT. YOU WILL SEE IT IN THE FENDER.
3,686 convertible models were produced. Hardtop probably about 14,000, give or take....
the regulator is inside the alternator and yes you can take the alternator apart and just replace the regulator.
The best way that I figured out is to take the wheel off and take off the screws off that attach the fender well to front bumper (there is about 5 of them) and go through the fender well so then you will be behind the foglight. I think it beats taking all those screws or snaps along the bottom
I'll take a guess that it was Leo Fender.
According to the Fender website, the serial number 369229, was made somewhere between 1970 and 1973. I have a 1964 Fender Jazz, the date is stamped on the neck. I suggest if you want to take your bass apart, you have an expert do it, or find out the next time you have it serviced.
I have a 81 Z28 Camaro, my heater hoses were behind passenger side fender by firewall. I would say start there, you might want to take off passenger side fender to get to it easier. The heater core comes from inside the car under the glove box.
