take off the nuts under the door posts that go into the hinge. Very easy, be sure to roll the windows down. That makes the doors easier to carry.

I do'nt want to just pull the fuse so what is the best way to keep my dome lights "off" when i take the doors off my 2004 Jeep Wrangler X
i don't know about Maryland but most of the US if you have your seatbelt on and a rearveiw mirror your fine
put the fuse back in. 4wd and other jeep stores sell little clamps that go on the door sensors and keep the lights off while the doors are off
