If your starter is dead, you won't be going anywhere until it gets fixed, automatic or not.
Might try putting an air gun on the crank pulley nut but not recommended. Best to replace the starter motor and do it right

There are many different automatic car starters out there. Toyota has one car starter, called the Auto Car Start. It can be purchased and used with many Toyota cars.
But you need a key to start a car . Impossible
An automatic car starter can be especially helpful if the owner lives in a colder region because during the winter they could start it and have it warm by the time they are ready to leave. It also goes for the summer where the car could be cool by the time they are ready to leave.
Align the neutral lockout switch.
For me in the past that has meant I am about to need a new starter.

If your car works fine when its not cold and only wont start when its cold outside then its a bad solenoid and most likely the one that regulates voltage to your starter. This solenoid can not be replaced with out replacing the starter because they are combined. Unless you have a aftermarket starter that will let replace the solenoid without replacing the starter. So all you have to do is take it to a shop and have a new starter put in and your prob should be fixed.
I found out that I had a blown ignition fuse.
