On Dodge, Chryslers equipped 2.2 and 2.5 fuel injected engines, late 80's, disconnect the CTS (coolant temp sensor), check engine light should come on in the dash, then check the timing by aiming the light through the rectangular hole in the top of the trans. bell housing. I think the spec. is 12 degrees BTDC.
After doing that, turn engine off, disconnect the battery for 2 minutes, then reconnect (negative) cable, and your on your way.
