I followed the instructions on the following link and managed to sort it, Ford quoted £280 for a new set of three keys !! It is a little fiddly but I managed it on the second attempt.

turn key to position 2 about 5 times you will here central locking click when it clicks press your remote any button that's it re-programed
pull the fuse out for central locking wait 2 minutes then put back in (fuse box under glove compartment ) hand book will say which fuse then reprogamme remote

yes it does , but its manual central locking. I can find the central lock button inside the car
If the car has an alarm system or remote locking (Key fob) the locking control box is behind the side trim in the (UK) passenger footwell, if there is no alarm there is no relay box the system works off the door being locked and it sends a lock command to the other door
The central locking relay is attached to the ECU, fitted behind the right (EU) back passenger side panel.
