I have a 1997 mule 2510 You have to remove the whole rear end of it to replace the rear bearings because the bearings are inside the housing on the cv joint. The axle bolts in the rear diff with six bolts. you take the shocks and springs and all loose and drop the whole rear end and the and take the top part of the axle off the bottom half axle and then you will see the bearings

How do you replace the main bearing on a 2510 kawasaki mule?

There is only one main bearing. It is on the flywheel side and is a plane bearing (not a ball or needle bearing). You have to remove the crankshaft, press the old bearing out and press the new one in. Once the new one is installed, it MUST be checked for proper oil clearance. If it's not correct (tight), it will lock and destroy the rest of the engine. There is only one main bearing. It is on the flywheel side and is a plane bearing (not a ball or needle bearing).
