If it is one of the brake lights on either side of the tailgate, there are only two screws that hold it on. Let the tailgate down & you will see them on the side. Remove these two screws (one in plain sight, one kind of hidden around in the tailgate cable area), & the tail light assenby will come out. There are three bulbs in the tail light assembly & they're all the same type, even the reverse light bulb (type is 3057). You should probably replace these with LED's since they don't burn out like bulbs do, just make sure you get the right ones. The bulb sockets will rotate about 1/4 of a turn (can't remember which way) & should then easily slide out.
