hey, currently I have the same problem.. dont listen to anyone if they say you should replace it.... unless of course you have a money tree.... there is no danger in simply gluing it down. for there is a metal hinged flap which the cover is attached to which opens out of the way during deployment so as long as you glue it only to the metal flap you will not damage the airbag
Dear Air Commodore (Name)
answer my question
At the moment it's Air Commodore Barbara Cooper before her it was Air Commodore Ian Stewart
An air commodore is a rank in the Royal Air Force between group captain and air vice-marshal, or an officer holding this rank.
This person would be a "passenger comfort specialist".
Under the air hose on the passenger side valve cover.
You will have to unbolt and remove the engine access cover inside the passenger compartment. Then you can easily get to the air cleaner.
There are no 'clips'. The filter is on the passenger side under the plastic cover just below the wiper. Remove plastic cover's weatherstrip; Remove plastic cover's center retaining bolt; Remove plastic cover's plastic passenger side 'screw'; Lift out passenger side cover; Filter is in the well. Pull it out. Installation is reverse of removal.
In the dashboard on the passenger side. You remove the cover in the middle of the dash to get to the two screws holding the passenger-side dash cover. After you get it out, the filter housing cover will be very evident; five screws hold it in. All screws T20 Torx.
Replace airpump check valve on passenger side of secondary air system.
Yes but it depends if its got an airbag or not. No air bag sweet. Airbag problems.
The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side of the front cowl. You will need to lift the hood. Remove the 5 #25 Torx screws holding down the black cowl cover. Remove the two drain hoses that are connected to the cowl cover. You can lift the cowl cover just enough to reach in and remove the air filter on the passenger side. A silly design, but so do many cars. I found the information for this here at the Volvospeed.com site. I googled How to replace Volvo S80 air cabin filter. The site has other How To bits that could help you. My search was for the cabin air filter, but I'm sure the air filter is on the site as well. Good Luck. I'm about to change mine in a few minutes. http://volvospeed.com/Repair/s80cfc.php
