They are easier to remove if they are warmed first.

Using a hair dryer, on the heat setting, warm the area where the transfer is stuck.

Use your nail to pick carefully at the edge or better still, a corner. Don't use metal tools as you may damage the paintwork.

Continue to warm the transfer and the sticky backing will soften and the transfer should be easy to peel off.

After removal, if there are any traces of sticky residue left, use something like penetrating oil on a soft cloth to wipe over the area and remove the stickyness.

Don't use solvents or paint thinners as these are likely to damage the surface of the paint and give you extra work.

I have used the hair dryer method to remove transfers and decals from a car.
