Inside the transmission. If you see no pan that can be removed it is a sealed for life transmission and no service is necessary. NOT TRUE, at least in the case of the SL series! The transmission filter is located in the front of the engine towards the driver's side. It is located below the airbox.

The MB series does not have a drain plug like most transmissions. Remove the dipstick, then loosen the bolts on the drain pan so that one corner drops slightly. This will enable the fluid to drain. It is important to change the filter as well.Ê
It has a drain plug. Remove the drain plug, it will drain. It has a spin on filter (Allison Part #29539579), remove and replace with new. Put the drain plug back in and refill with appropriate fluid. If the transmission is in a GMC or Chevrolet 2500 or 3500 series truck the appropriate fluid is Dexron VI. Anything else and the appropriate fluid is Transynd. There are two pan depths availabe: shallow and deep. Refill after service takes 7.4 for shallow and 10.6 for deep. There is a internal filter, but it si only changed during a transmission overhall. If you needed to read this to know how to change the fluid, you should carry it to a dealer.

If by "Civic transmission" you mean a D-series transmission then no, it is not compatible with the B-series engine. If the Civic has a B-series transmission then, oviously, it will work. All 5-speed B-series transmissions are compatible with all B-series engines.
The duration of Transmission - TV series - is 3600.0 seconds.

To change the automatic transmission oil in your 2001 Land Cruiser 100 Series, start by warming up the engine slightly to thin the oil, then turn it off. Locate the transmission pan, remove the bolts, and carefully lower it to drain the old oil. Replace the filter if necessary, clean the pan, and reattach it with a new gasket. Finally, refill the transmission with the appropriate type and amount of new fluid through the dipstick tube. Always check the fluid level after running the engine for a few minutes.
You can only access it from underneath the car. First remove the front steel bash plate on the left hand side. To remove the oil filter element you will need a Toyota tool to unscrew the plastic lid on the underside, so best buy the tool when you buy the oil filter.
