PO773 is almost always caused by a lock-up shift solenoid failure. It becomes clogged with metal particles and then fails. Remove the transmission pan and look for metal particles. If you see some you more than likely need a new transmission. If you see very little just replace the solenoid and change the A/T fluid & filter.
