If the bonnet catch lever is broken, you can try to access the bonnet by using a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool to manually release the latch. Locate the latch mechanism through the grille or under the car's front end, and carefully pry it open. If this doesn’t work, you may need to remove the grille or consult a professional mechanic for assistance. Always ensure the vehicle is secure and turned off before attempting any repairs.

To open the bonnet of a Ford Tourneo Connect, first, locate the bonnet release lever inside the vehicle, typically found on the driver's side near the footwell. Pull the lever to release the initial latch. Then, move to the front of the vehicle, slide the safety catch (usually located under the centre of the bonnet) to the side, and lift the bonnet open. Use the prop rod, if available, to secure the bonnet in an upright position.
