To make a fused jumper wire you need a couple parts:
In-line fuse holder.
Solder.
Soldering iron.
Wire.
Which ever clips you want. I used alligator clips.
and heat shrink.
What you want to do is take the fuse holder, Strip the ends back a little bit (Most of the times they come pre-stripped), next, take a chunk of your wire and then strip it the same amount.
Once you do that, you need to solder them together (I typically twist them then solder them) Once soldered together, slip a piece of heat shrink over the end of the wire to cover the soldered joint, then shrink it with a heat gun or a lighter.
Be careful as it'll get hot! Do that for the other side of the fuse holder.
Then add your clips on the ends.
With that, you have your fused jumper wire.
A fused jumper wire is just a wire with or with out alligator clips that has a fuse on it. It can be either buss or blade fuse. You can make one with some parts at autozone or similar parts store.

yes but fused wire is safer.
unplug motor run fused jumper from batt and touch to two wire plug on motor
Under the front bonnet, to the right of the engine bay. They are normally purple in colour and i think the fuel pump relay has a fused jumper wire beside it.
A jumper wire should use to bridge electrical ground across?
CHECK THE CLUTCH SWITCH TO SEE IF ITS FAULTY. MAKE MAKE A JUMPER WIRE TO SEE IT THAT'S THE PROBLEM. MAKE A JUMPER WIRE WITH AN INLINE 20 AMP FUSE. UNPLUG THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR TO THE CLUTCH SAFETY SWITCH. PUT THE JUMPER WIRE IN PLACE OF THE SWITCH. NOW PUT THE CLUTCH IN AND TRY TO START IT,IF IT STARTS THEN BUY A NEW SWITCH. THE CLUTCH SAFETY SWITCH IS UNDER THE DASH ABOVE THE PADDLE,LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE CYLINDER. GOOD LUCK
No, you need at least 8 gauge for jumper cables.
Jumper wire from coil + to battery+ Jump starter solenoid from small trigger wire to starter cable Make sure vehicle is in neutral if std.
Barnical is a term used some times for a jumper wire. Some times due to a design problem on a printed circuit board or in order to make some circuit changes for experiments and design enhancements, you may have to make a connection between electronic parts which is not on the printed circuit. For that you will have to connect and solder wire between the pins/components. This is usually called a jumper wire or a barnical. - Neeraj Sharma
Some older wire does not have a ground. All you can do in that case is use a jumper wire to connect the ground to the neutral.
