A Swingline stapler is a brand of stapler known for its durability and reliability in binding papers together. It features a unique design that allows for smooth stapling, often equipped with a built-in staple remover and a comfortable grip. Swingline offers a variety of models, including handheld and electric options, making it suitable for both home and office use. Its popularity stems from its efficiency and ease of use in everyday tasks.
Staples are typically made of metal wire that is bent into a specific shape, featuring two prongs. When a stapler is used, the prongs are driven through the paper and then folded over the back, securing the sheets together. This folding creates a firm grip, holding the pages in place. The design of staples ensures that they can easily penetrate paper while providing a strong binding.

Once one leg is lifted, you can use pliers to grip the staple and pull it out completely. If the staple is stubborn, applying a bit of pressure while wiggling it can help. Be careful to avoid damaging the wood surface during the process.

In traditional grip, one stick is held with an underhand grip while the other stick is held with an overhand grip. In matched grip, both sticks are held with a similar grip, either both overhand or both underhand. Traditional grip is often used in marching band and jazz drumming, while matched grip is more common in rock and pop drumming.
