To install a amp, You will need to purchess a wiring kit. You will see three screws on the amp, One that says, pos another that says neg/gnd and another that says rem. The one taht says pos is positive. That is where you put the red wire. The red wire connectes to your battery, before connecting it though, the wiring kit should have came with a fuse setup. The fuse has to get connected to the red wire that comes with the kit. Typically you have to cut the red wire (the one that came with the kit, not the one connected to the battery) and put the fuse system in there put the fuse about 6 inches from the battery. After doing that, don't hook up that wire yet. The neg/gnd means negative or ground. The kit also came with a black wire. You want to hook that up anywhere on your car that is metal to ground out the amp. Hook that up first. You don't have to drag the wire up to your battery like you do your red one. Anywhere in your trunk that is metal is fine. And now the rem. Rem stands for remote. That hooks into your aftermarket stereo. Typically a blue wire but it will say on it. And then you get a long audio cable. White and red that also plugs into the back of your radio. That hooks into your amp as well.
On the amp you will see..... + R - And + L -. Which is your right and left sub. If you are only using one sub you will have to bridge the speaker simply by putting your positive wire coming from the sub on the R + and the negative wire coming from the sub on your L - and that's pretty much it. Hope this helps.
How do I install my output converter to my factory stereo in my car
you need an amp and an amp wiring kit
No, you connect the to an amplifier.
First you will absolutely need an amp to power any subwoofers. Nowadays subwoofers come along with amp..& normally one 1200watt subwoofer decrease your car battery lifetime to 2-4 month
The Loudest TL-2093 Amp is the loudest amplifier with a 1500watt 2channel amp with omponent speakers or subwoofers.
Many amps are made for interior speakers instead of subwoofers, so yes.
you need an amplifier first. decide where you want the amp, and wire it to that point. (amp comes with instructions for the wiring) once the amp is wired in, wire it to the radio(instructions come with amp) and screw it in. then locate where you want the sub(s) and wire it to that from the amp. almost all your instructions for installing subwoofers comes with the amp.
Subwoofers will need to be supplemented with larger auditions to an audio system when they are install in a 1997 Honda Civic. Properly wire the units into the audio system. Be sure to upgrade the ground so the larger additions will not burn anything out. Make sure the subwoofers are also safely mounted to the car.
Depends on the amp. There are two different types. Theres one for your in car speakers and theres one for your sub. The small amps are to increase sound for the small speakers and the big amps are so you can have subwoofers and you can have lots of bass.
you would just install them like you would on a normal car, but I'm assuming you are using the stock head unit which doesn't have RCA outputs, so you will need to buy a line output converter to run the RCA cables from the head unit to the subs
either your amp has a short..... or.... you have a bad ground
The instructions to install a car audio subwoofer can be found in the manual or the easy way is online. Online you will able to find the information related to the situation.
