A loose engine mount would not normally cause the engine to fall out because each car has several motor mounts. A loose mount could cause the motor to be off of balance.
The best way to fix the engine light in your Land Cruiser is to fix the problem. There are many reasons your check engine light could be on including a loose gas cap and problems with your engine.
No. The engine mount may be in the way depending on the engine.
The year, make, model and engine wasn't mentioned but in general you remove the motor mount anchor bolt(s), lift the engine a few inches and support it safely, unbolt motor mount(s) from engine, remove mount(s), replace mount(s) and finish in reverse order.
I had one break from being rearended once. But I doubt that the bolts would work loose. the bond may have broken between the rubber and the mount this would cause your engine to move in the engine compartment have it checked
You will need a floor jack to support the engine and a jack stand, along with the tools to take loose the alternator, compressor and adjustor for the main belt. You will need to take off the passenger side front wheel, and take loose the engine mount )support the engine with the floor jack before taking loose the engine mount on the fender. Only loosen and take loose the mount from the engine side. This needs to be pulled out of the way along with the tire in order to have access to the belts. start at the outer most belt and work in to remove the belts, then do the reverse for the install.
Lift most of the weight off of the engine and take off the bracket. Then just replace it.
Loose sub frame mounts, broken motor mount. engine misfire. broken transmission mount.
A loose rocker arm for a valve mite be a easy fix with a valve adjustment
Maybe if you're lucky it'll be something simple. Perhaps a loose engine or tranny mount is allowing powertrain parts to seperate.
you take the rear turbine out of the engine and clean it and then make it dirty again and put it back in
Quite possibly a loose motor mount bolt.
