Under the drivers side seat is a white plastic connector plug. It has two wire going into it and the plug is fixed to the t=bottom of the seat.
If you pull the plug the chime and light will go out for good.
Note - the white connector plug is fixed to the seat by a plastic tab. I found that just pulling that firmly downwards separates it allowing a little better access.
How do I disable seat belt alarm for a Ford F150 2004
You are supposed to wear your seat belt in order to stop the seat belt alarm from chiming on a Hyundai Sonata. This is an important safety mechanism that should not be tampered with.
To disable the seat belt alarm on a Chevy Colorado, locate the alarm fuse. Pull out the fuse to disable the alarm.
connect the 2 active wires at the seat belt receptal, (the thing you plug the seat belt into!!! )
Wear the seat Belt !
I find that fastening the seat belt disables the alarm immediately
You can take it to a Mazda dealer and they can do an update to your car's computer to disable the alarm. I think it's around $50-$75 for them to do that.
Buckle up!
You wear your seatbelt!
take out the fuse for it
Buckle up.
Fasten your seatbelt.
