Its depend on your situation, but 99% this is AVG fake alert. Their update from morning contains instruction that igfxcfg.exe is BackDoor.Generic11.TDY, but its legitimate Intel grafic driver file. reUpdate 3 hours later the same file is clean, so a mistake of AVG team. Reupdate should solve your problem, suggest also restore files, saved in virus vault. If your situation is different (not igfxcfg.exe file, located in c:\windows\system32, c:\_restore.... or install dir c:\compaq\....), maybe its real virus, but I guess 1% probability. Jan
I had a Trojan Backdoor, and I removed it with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware.
You have the find the exact location and manually delete them.
Trojan program Backdoor.Win32.VB.cs
Contact AVG.
A backdoor Trojan horse is a malicious program that allows the hacker to view everything on your computer.
You can refer to Symantec website. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/backdoor.sdbot.html
It's a virus! (:
To delete a Trojan Horse, you'd better follow technical steps to get rid of it.
Download The Cleaner 4.1 Professional here: http://www.moosoft.com/products/cleaner/download/ and it should sniff out all trojans and quarantine them. After that you need to go into the quarantine and delete them.
AnswerMy AVG found Trojan Horse Dropper Generic, informed me and put it into the Virus Vault. (AVG said that it had 'healed' the virus ... oh yeah ?)I went into Virus Vault and manually deleted it by just using the 'Delete' button.Problem solved ... I think. So far, so good.- but the moment you run the scan, it will appear again.
