The back of the Geneve OGW154WR watch is solid and without slots. To remove the battery, the crystal and set pin need to be removed by a competent jeweler, using a tool designed for removal of the crystal. If you try to remove the crystal with a screw driver, you'll likely damage the crystal, and if you are fortunate enough to remove the crystal in tact, you won't be able to put it back in. My advice is to take this watch to a competent jeweler for service.

To change the battery on a slap watch, you typically need to locate the small compartment on the back of the watch that holds the battery. Use a small screwdriver or a coin to carefully open the compartment, remove the old battery, and replace it with a new one of the same type. Make sure the battery is securely in place before closing the compartment.
Fossil watches are harder than most to replace the battery on as the battery compartment is sealed and pressurized. In order to change the battery one must remove the back plate from the watch then remove the nylon cover beneath it. Press the spring that holds the battery in place to release it.
Use tool to open the cover. You will see the battery. Make new instead the old. Or let professional repair men do it.
The first thing to do is to open the cover of the battery compartment. Remove the old battery. Replace this with a new battery. Replace the cover and check that the watch is still working. If the watch is still within its warranty period, then DKNY will replace the battery for you, however, it will need to be mailed to the service center.
The back pops off on some watches. You can go to a watch store and they can put a new battery in it for you. Some others don't need a battery though. On these types when you move your wrist, the time is updated.
To change the battery in a Fossil Arkitekt FS4048 watch, you will need a compatible replacement battery, a small screwdriver, and a case back opener tool. Carefully remove the old battery using the tools, and replace it with the new battery ensuring the correct polarity. Finally, reassemble the watch by securing the case back properly. If you are unsure, it may be best to have it done by a professional watch technician.
