A demolition derby is where you take and old car and put a roll cage in it, relocate the battery and the gas tank to inside the car. Then you crash into other cars at a county fair sponsored event.

A demolition derby is a automobile sport in which the object is to wreck cars (or sometimes trucks, vans, or buses etc.) until only one car is left running or driveable.
Demolition derbies were created when a person was a stock car driver and he noticed that people loved it when there was a crash. So he decided to create a demo derby and a lot of people went to it!!!

Yes there are, especially if you want to restart the car faster..
First all you have to do is get a old car that isn't really safe for the road. After you have done this take out everything such as glass, carpet, passenger seats, rear seats. Take the Gas tank out of the car and install a plastic one where the back seats were at. Rewire the battery to the inside of the car. You can make a toggle switch for your car but that is optional. Once you have the main structure, start beefing it up. Now i cant tell you how to beef it up because most places are different with rules. There is nothing really to making a demolition derby car. But i can tell you it take at least 3 months to get one ready.
I like full frame cars with leaf springs. Seem to help the frame fold up rather than down. If the frame goes down wheels come up and UR done.
you build them or buy one someone else used to race.
