Yes.
There should be a cap on the top of 1 valve cover are the other that you remove to add oil.
Depends on what engine it has. IIRC, that model could be had with the DT466, DT530, Cummins 6BT, Cat 3116, or Cat 3126 engine.
With engine running and trans warm add oil into trans dipstick tube
I was told by Auto Zone for my 4 cylinder 1996 truck the oil was 4.2 quarts. You could always add 4 quarts then wait a few minutes for it to drain down into the oil pan and check it with the dip stick. Add a little more if needed.
I have the same truck. Driver side of the engine, on top of the valve cover there's a cap with a hose coming out. Unscrew cap and add oil there.
ILSAC (International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee - U.S. & Japanese auto/truck manufacturers standards for motor oil)

If equipped, it is on the passenger side. It starts behind the oil filter. It was an add on option when the truck was built. You may have to buy the cord from the dealer. If equipped, it is on the passenger side. It starts behind the oil filter. It was an add on option when the truck was built.
