ABS came as standard equipment on the 95. It has ABS.
No.
if u want to disable it , there is a fuse box in the engine compartment , pull the fuse your abs will be disable, why take it off anyway
The easiest way is to turn the key to on. If you have ABS there will be a yellow light come on. It will say ABS.
Put the key in the ignition. Turn key to"Run". A slew of warning lamps will come on. If you see one light up that looks like this: (ABS) - then the vehicle has an Anti-lock Braking Systen.
There will be a two wire sensor sticking out of the top of the "pumpkin" if it has ABS.
when you turn the car on, usually the lights on the dash show up "ABS"
your abs sensor light is on probably becuase the abs in one or all of your breaks are not working, take it to a mechanic so they can tell you if that is for sure the problem.
Get some speed up, then brake hard. If you feel the brake pedal pulsating you have ABS:
Rear wheel abs was standard equipment on a 2007 Dodge Dakota. Four wheel abs was optional. If you have wiring going to the front wheel bearings for sensors, it is four wheel abs.
Slam on your brakes. If your brakes lock up, then you do not have ABS. If your brakes do not lock up and you hear a knocking type of noise from your brakes, then you have ABS.
Something to do with the alternator.
