The sub frame does not need to come off in order to remove the gearbox. The gearbox can be removed by removing the engine.
the diagnostic socket on peugeot 307 is under the ash tray( behind the gear lever). Lift up and remove the rubber pad and there it is. Dave
Probably a 3.08 gear ratio.
To change the gear linkage on a Peugeot 307, start by lifting the vehicle and removing the undertray for access. Disconnect the battery, then remove the gear lever and linkage from the transmission by detaching the retaining clips and bolts. Replace the old linkage with the new one, ensuring all connections are secure, and then reassemble the gear lever and undertray. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the gear operation before lowering the vehicle.
To change the gear oil in a Peugeot 307 HDi, start by ensuring the vehicle is on a level surface and securely lifted. Remove the drain plug at the bottom of the transmission and allow the old oil to fully drain out. Once drained, replace the drain plug and remove the fill plug on the side of the transmission. Fill the transmission with the recommended gear oil until it reaches the proper level, then replace the fill plug and check for any leaks.

To change the lower engine mount on a Peugeot 307, first, secure the vehicle on level ground and lift it using jack stands for safety. Remove any components obstructing access to the mount, such as the undertray. Then, unbolt the old mount from the engine and subframe, and replace it with the new mount, ensuring all bolts are torqued to the manufacturer's specifications. Finally, reassemble any removed components and lower the vehicle.
To replace the rear suspension bushes on a Peugeot 307, first, safely lift the vehicle and support it on jack stands. Remove the rear wheels and then detach the rear suspension components, including the trailing arms or subframe, as needed to access the bushes. Use a suitable tool, like a bush removal tool or a press, to remove the old bushes and install the new ones, ensuring they are properly aligned. Finally, reassemble the suspension components, replace the wheels, and lower the vehicle back to the ground.
If all goes well, 2-3 hours
307
More than likely a 3.08 gear ratio. which is a highway gear and a little strip very little unless not stock clutch/torque conveter
