No. Insurance only covers accidents and is usually pretty specific. They also do not cover re-roofing, painting, Plumbing repair, replacing the furnace, recarpeting and a whole lot of other home maintenance issues IF THEY ARE MAINTENANCE RELATED. If you have just purchased the home the realtor may be held responsible for failing to disclose existing problems but that's about the best relief that you could hope for.
