I do not have a definite answer but I suspect that Audi's and GM cars do share some common brake parts, both manufacturers, in common with others source parts from parts manufacturers catalogues. Some years ago when supplying parts for a racing car manufacturer I used to make hubs and bearing housings that used a wheel bearing that was a part common to Audi and Vauxhall (& therefore Opel) cars. There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
