No only if it is 50ccthat or up
you do not need to register a 49cc moped/scooter but you do need a car license to ride one. you are not allowed on turnpikes or highways and the top speed can not exceed 30mph.
Nope
No, if it is 49cc or under, your scooter is considered a bicycle with an asisted motor, therefore you don't need insurance or a regerstration.
First of all did you go to the CT MVB web site and download the scooter rules and regulations? I guess you didn't, otherwise you would not be asking this question and letting someone do your homework. Your simple answer is NO. But for a complete answer you will have to do like I did and search for it.(Title 14 Sec14-286) Memo HRSD No. 905 of 02/2003. In any case you MUST have a valid drivers license.
== == If your motor scooter has an engine capacity of at least 50 cubic centimeters, it falls into the category of motorcycle in Connecticut. That means you have to follow the same laws motorcycle drivers and owners do. You need to register your motor scooter, hold title and registration, and carry a motorcycle operator's license. It is illegal to ride your scooter on sidewalks. Your scooter must have brakes, lights, a horn, and mirrors. If your scooter's engine capacity is less than 50 cubic centimeters, it is classified as a moped, or a "bicycle with helper motor." You are only required to hold a valid driver's license to own and ride it.
If the scooter goes above 30 mph, you need a motorcycle certification on your license. If it does not go above 30 mph, it is considered a moped, and you do not need a motorcycle certification. You still need a license, though.
To drive a scooter in CT you must have an automobile drivers license. If the scooters engine is over 49cc then you must also have a motorcycle license. I believe the minimum age is 17 to drive a car.
In CT to drive a 50cc scotter or less you need a standard motor vehicle license. Above 50cc you must have a motorcycle license.
If the engine on your moped is less than 50cc the moped does not need to be registered or carry liability insurance, but the driver MUST have a valid automobile drivers license.
If you mean to drive a scooter on public streets the age does not matter, what you must have is a regular drivers license for an automobile. If the scooter's engine is over 49cc then you must also have a motorcycle license in CT. Check your states MVB's rules online.
Yes in CT if the engine is over 49cc. Check your states MVB laws online.
To be qualified for a CT Technologist job you will require special training. You will need to graduate from a Radiology Technology School, preferably accredited. Then you will need to register with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists. CPR and life support training is helpful. Specific state requirements may also apply.
