Do you lose points in grepolis if you demolish a building?

Yes you do. Every time you level up a building it gives points depending on what level it upgraded.if you demolish that same building lets say. Example:

You upgraded the SENATE to level 17 now if you demolish it at level 17 it goes do 16 and you lose the same amount of points earned to get it to level 17.
