Hi, I work at Unitrin Direct. To answer your question, iMingle and Unitrin Direct are part of the Unitrin Inc. Best for insurance operations. iMingle is a new brand of direct-to-consumer insurance-- launched specifically for the i Gemeration --and offers auto, home, condo and renters insurance. Customers in 13 states-- OR, NV, CO, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, VA, PA and SC.
Unitrin is now known as Kemper Specialty Insurance. Some ways to receive discounts with Kemper include to have a dual policy of auto and home insurance and adjust the deductible amount.
They all can provide cheap car insurance it just depends on what kind of deal they are willing to offer you. I will give an example I personally use Unitrin Direct because they offer me a rate lower than all others where as my wife uses Allstate because they offer here a better deal than Unitrin does. As strange as that sounds the only way to find out is to compare as many companies as you can and I would start off with Unitrin Direct, Geico, and allstate first then go from there.
GAP insurance is normally offered to you when you buy a car. If it was purchased at all, that is up to you. If you do not have it then you can find someone else that offers it. A few insurance carriers offer this as part of their plan. Progressive and Unitrin offer that with their auto insurance policies.

There are exceptions to this but normally the car rental firms insurance covers the the car, if in doubt always get CDW when renting a car (Collision Damage Waver) if you have OPCF 27 on your car insurance then your insurance will cover the rental car, its called the Laibility for damage to non-owned automobiles. you must have collision and comprehensive for this coverage to work.
Yes. I work at an insurance company and will always say that we insure stupidity.
There is no breakdown to how or where you drive your car. Enroute to work is a daily activity and you are covered by your insurance. Where problems start is if someone else was driving the car or if you don't have a drivers license.
One can get multiple car insurance quotes in the UK at Admiral Car Insurance, Privelege Car Insurance, Direct Line Car Insurance, Aviva Car Insurance, Churchill Car Insurance and many more.
